Callune Privacy Policy

Callune is an app where you talk with AI characters and listen to radio shows they host. This policy explains what we collect, where it goes and how to delete it. Callune is for people aged 16 and older.
"We" means Lee Jeheon (이제헌), sole proprietor, Unit 303, 14-3, Gwangun-ro 13-gil, Nowon-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Contact: zeroeodum@gmail.com.
The short version
- Your conversations, memories and character settings are stored on your phone, not on our servers.
- To write a reply, the app sends the parts of the conversation the character needs to our server, which passes them to an AI provider and does not keep them.
- We keep your account, your age band and country, and how much you used the app (token counts, not text).
- We never sell your data and do not use it for ads targeting.
What stays on your phone
- Your messages and the characters' replies (kept for up to 365 days, then deleted automatically; summaries and memories stay until you delete them)
- Summaries and facts the app remembers about you ("memories"), which you can view and delete in the app
- Characters you create and radio episodes already played
- Your birthdate (the app only sends whether you are 16-17 or 18+)
If Android backup is on and your backup is encrypted, Android may back this up to your Google account. Google handles that backup under its own policy; we can't read it.
What we collect on our servers

Our server runs on Supabase in the United States (us-east-1).
When you talk to a character
Each reply needs an AI model. The app sends our server: the character's settings, a short list of things it remembers about you, a recent summary, and the last few messages. Our server adds safety rules, sends this to an AI provider, streams the reply back and does not store the text.
Before and after each reply, your latest message and the reply are checked by an automated safety classifier. If you seem to be in crisis, the character steps out of the story and shows crisis line information. Unsafe replies are replaced.
If a message, character setting or picture description is sexual content involving minors, it is blocked and the account is suspended. We keep only that one flagged item, as described in the table above, so a person can review it. You can appeal from the app or by email.

None of these providers may use your data to train their models under our agreements with them.
The voices are generated on your phone. Your voice is never recorded.
Children
Callune is not for children. You must be 16 or older. If we learn that a user is under 13, we close the account and delete their server data. If you believe a child under 13 is using Callune, report it in the app or email zeroeodum@gmail.com.
Deleting your data
- Delete account: Me → Delete account in the app, or email zeroeodum@gmail.com from your Google account email. We delete your account, usage records, energy and coin records, picture-making records, safety records, appeals and reports within 30 days.
- On your phone: uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes your conversations and memories. You can also delete single memories in the app.

Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK, the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore), you can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, and to object to some processing. Email zeroeodum@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. We do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by California law.
Your data is processed in the United States.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Our AI keys stay on our server, never in the app. Database rows are protected so each user can only reach their own account data.
Changes
We'll show a notice in the app before important changes take effect.
